The new website Studying in Switzerland and the brochure “Campus and Research Park Switzerland" provide specific information about study opportunities at Swiss universities, exchange programs, Swiss higher education and Swiss research in general.

In 2009, ThinkSwiss provides Research Scholarships and offers travel grants for stays at summer schools at top Swiss universities. The U.S. participants in both programs will share their experiences on the ThinkSwiss Brainstorm Blog.

Switzerland and the USA both benefit from well-established student exchanges. Like their US counterparts, Swiss universities offer first-rate educational opportunities in diverse fields of study, a wide range of study- and research-programs in English. All Swiss universities have student exchange programs with US universities to allow Swiss and US students to benefit from their excellent higher education systems. At present, the universities of applied sciences, which focus on practice oriented education, are looking for US partner institutions to extend their offering of exchange programs.
